Born in Mülheim/Ruhr on July 10th, 1968, Edgar Müller was destined to entertain and astonish the world with his signature 3D Street Art. Using washable chalk or paint, skilled insight, and careful planning, this renowned artist creates magnificent works of art that amaze and entertain, even though they may only last a few days!

Müllers’ artwork is painstakingly applied to select sidewalks and streets around the world, available for viewing by lucky passersby until the weather turns cloudy, the rain starts to fall, and then the lovely painting is gone forever.

His works include various landscapes that transform the painted concrete into artful scenery, temporarily endowing the surrounding area with an unusual and often surreal foreground.

In 2008, the German street painting artist created a stunning depiction of an icy crevasse on the East Pier of Dun Laoghaire for that year’s Festival of World Cultures. Once the painting was complete, the suburban seaside town in County Dublin, Ireland boasted a work of art that was well documented, as well as enjoyed by festival goers.

The masterpiece was completed under a cloudy sky, with the threat of rain seemingly looming overhead, but Muller shrugs off the possibility of rain indicating that if a painting gets ruined by nature he will simply paint it again.

Müllers’ 3D Street Art is often filmed during the process of creation, then posted on Youtube for the world to see, an inviting advertising method which has contributed largely to his status as one of the best known street painters in the world.

Despite this obviously beneficial advertising method, most agree that the title is well deserved. The scale of the paintings alone is impressive, while the talent and planning involved in creating these 3D works of art are obvious even at first glance.
